Wedding Lehenga

A wedding lehenga must be chosen with the greatest care. Not only the fabric or color, the cuts and designs should be well crafted. A wedding lehenga can either be traditional or a designer version depending on the choice of the bride. Make sure that the wedding lehenga complements the jewellery and carriage of the bride.

Since many weddings have themes nowadays, it is suggested to opt for a wedding lehenga which is in line with the theme set. Brides generally need more than one lehenga for the entire wedding. The other women can also make their outfits gracious for the events; the wedding lehenga used for different rituals must be chosen with utmost care.

Here are a few suggestions of what kind of lehengas would suit each day of the wedding festivities. For the mehendi ceremony one can go in for a heavily embroidered choli with very short sleeves. The lehenga can have a simple cut. A corset is also an alternative to the choli. Silk or georgette could be the best materials to be used. For the sangeet ceremony slim fit lehenga with a heavy corset or a backless choli works wonders. The lehenga for sangeet can have traditional gota work or crystal and semi precious stone embroidery. For the main wedding choose a heavy and classy lehenga choli. The work must be intricate and gorgeous. Full sleeve cholis with a classic zardosi style red lehengas an eternal favorite. Jamvaar and brocade are traditionally heavy materials used by brides.
